  1. Charge the Samsung device's battery to at least 75%. If you're using a laptop, plug in it to AC power.
  2. Download and install the Samsung universal Android device USB driver
  3. Separate the battery, SIM card and memory card
  4. Reinsert the battery.
  5. Consult the documentation for your device to determine the button combination needed to enter download mode. For example, for the Samsung Galaxy S III, you press and hold the "Home" and "Volume Down" keys, the press "Power" until the Galaxy comes on.
  6. Start Odin.
  7. Put the device into download mode as determined in Step 5.
  8. Plug in the device to the PC using the USB cable that came with it. You will see "Added!" appear in the Message box in Odin.
  9. Review the firmware update's documentation and select files accordingly using Odin's PIT, PDA and Phone buttons. Usually, a tar or md5 file containing the firmware will be used in the Phone slot.
  10. Uncheck "F. Reset Time." Leave "Auto Reboot" checked.
  11. Check that everything is correct and click "Start" in Odin to begin the firmware update procedure. It will take a few minutes to complete.

Step guide -  how to Unroot Samsung Galaxy S5 Using Odin

please do a backup of your smartphone before the process. Since this unroot process remove all the device data.
1st step: put the Samsung galaxy S5 into download mode
2nd step: continue the process by click on ‘volume up’
3rd step: download Odin (tar.md5) from above links.
4th step: unzip Odin
5th step: then open Odin application
6th step: Unzip the stock tar file
7th step: Ensure that only "Auto Reboot" and "PDA" is check marked and do a click on "Start".
8th step: then let the process to complete. It will need maximum 8 minutes
9th step: it will inform the complete by appearing a message as ‘pass’
Now the Samsung galaxy S5 will completely boot up and you will be on stock Samsung Touchwiz, but the apps, app data, contacts, text message, etc will be still on the galaxy smartphone.

If you need to delete all or if you got stuck while boot loop this part keep following the rest of the steps.


10th step: Unplug the device and switch off the phone. (If your stuck in a boot loop just keep holding down the power button until it turns off).
11th step:  then enter to the stock recovery.
12th step: choose "wipe data/factory reset" next select "yes".
13th step: then choose "wipe cache partition" and select "yes".


At last step select "reboot system now" and the Samsung galaxy S5 will completely boot up with all the user data removed.
